Accountant-General’s Department is a department under the Ministry of Finance of Singapore.
AGD offers financial services such as providing integrated government accounting systems, managing government funds and cash flow, providing value-adding financial services through demand aggregation, and leveraging technology to build new financial capabilities.
Also, as a steward of public sector finances, they prepare and analyze government financial statements, monitor financial returns from government assets, monitor government borrowings, formulate accounting & financial policies, set accounting standards, protect the reserves, and ensure high standards of governance and conduct value-for-money reviews.
AGD is a partner in building capabilities and helps in building financial competencies, developing finance leaders for the public sector, and sharing through communities of financial practice.
